see the bbc click team break the unbreakable phone at consumer electronics show in .las Vagus, CES.
What is BBCClick? What is the point of proving that something somebody says is unbreakable can be broken? Is this funded by the TV license? If so, I'm glad I don't pay it.
That amused me. Nothing is unbreakable!
great stuff
bbc click is the bbc's technology programme. and this video was a snippit from a film to be shown on bbc click next week or the week after. the challenge from the manufacturer was to break the phone, and Dan simmons broke it. the screen cracked, and that for me, is no unbreakable phone.
and its not like it took forever to do lol
no, from the way i hear it, mr simmons was just putting the phone through genral drops and things, and the screen bust easily. hmm, bakc to the drawing board with that phone lads. then give it to the beeb to bust before even boasting about how ruggid the phone is!
it was cool that he held it under water and it still rang though. not many phones last after being wet. usually have to let them dry out and that don't always work. lol this was amusing though!
